Great opportunity: we are hiring a smash repairer in Lawrence County, Alabama. You will work at an accident repair garage. The role involves: • Buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections • Shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer • MIG-weld and spot-weld new panels into place • Feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray • Treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection Requirements: • Trade certificate in auto body repair an advantage • Confident reading insurance estimates and damage reports 5+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
