The role involves run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports. You should have: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces 3+ years on the tools preferred.
