Counter butcher wanted in Renfrewshire

Vacancy available: we are hiring a counter butcher in Renfrewshire, Scotland. The job is at a halal meat counter. The role involves break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date. What we are looking for: • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
