What we are looking for: • Comfortable working in inspection pits and on ramps • Good eyesight and methodical fault-finding • Able to read wiring diagrams and workshop manuals Day-to-day duties: • Carry out suspension and steering repairs • Estimate repair costs and order the right parts • Replace clutch plates and gearbox components • Read fault codes and clear them after the repair • Carry out oil and filter changes • Road-test vehicles to confirm the repair Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
