Immediate opening: gas pipe fitter (Illinois)

Join our team: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in Shelby County, Illinois. Day-to-day duties: • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections What we are looking for: • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
