Vacancy available: reinforcement steel fixer (Texas)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Fisher County, Texas. You will be based on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. On a typical shift you will tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat. Ideal candidate: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. $23 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
