Natural gas fitter wanted in Washington County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a natural gas fitter in Washington County, Virginia. You will be based at a boiler and appliance service centre. Your main tasks: • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant Requirements: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Able to read isometric and site drawings 3+ years on the tools preferred. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
