Ideal candidate: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling The role involves: • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat Part-time with flexible hours.
