Immediate opening: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Hitchcock County, Nebraska. The job is on a pipeline and trenching crew. The role involves clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble; lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains; inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up; keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly; strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse; grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient. Ideal candidate: • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site • Proven experience on 360 tracked excavators (8t–30t) 5+ years on the tools preferred.
