Great opportunity: we are hiring a rebar installer in City of York, England. The role involves: • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings You should have: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
