Now hiring: we are hiring a cnc lathe operator in City of Martinsville, Virginia. You will be based in a precision engineering workshop. Requirements: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm Day to day you will top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; write and edit G-code programs at the control. 5+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $5,250 per project, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
