Tailor machinist wanted in Jefferson County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Jefferson County, Pennsylvania. The job is on an export house sewing floor. The role involves: • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required You should have: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance Part-time with flexible hours.
