Great opportunity: lift installation engineer (Michigan)

Now hiring: we are hiring a lift installation engineer in Oceana County, Michigan. The job is on a high-rise construction site. Day to day you will run load and overload tests with test weights; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
