Now hiring: lift technician (California)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lift technician in Sutter County, California. The job is on a high-rise construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake Ideal candidate: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. We offer $3,400 per month plus benefits. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
