Now hiring: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Weakley County, Tennessee. The job is at an automobile body shop. Day to day you will strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols. What we are looking for: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Willing to work shifts and overtime Six days a week, one day off.
