Great opportunity: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Ashley County, Arkansas. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Ideal candidate: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Your main tasks: • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
