Gas installation technician wanted in Plymouth

Join our team: we are hiring a gas installation technician in Plymouth, England. You will work at a busy gas installation company. The role involves lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
