Great opportunity: we are hiring a plant operator (dozer) in City of Poquoson, Virginia. You will be based at a civil contractor's yard. Your main tasks: • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Refuel the machine and record running hours Ideal candidate: • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around $4,200 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
