Cnc turning machinist — Greene County

Now hiring: we are hiring a cnc turning machinist in Greene County, Georgia. You will be based in a job-work machining unit. You should have: • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm On a typical shift you will check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; run first-off inspection and sign off the part; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers. $140 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
