We are recruiting: we are hiring a crane operator in Somerset County, Maine. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Understanding of safe digging near underground services On a typical shift you will load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely; carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension; read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles; excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals.
