Vacancy available: we are hiring an elevator technician in McPherson County, South Dakota. Day to day you will top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
