Scaffolding charge hand wanted in Sir Powys

Vacancy available: we are hiring a scaffolding charge hand in Sir Powys, Wales. You will be based at a high-rise building site. Day-to-day duties: • Hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope • Tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors • Lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips • Inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use • Erect tube-and-fitting and system scaffolds such as Cuplok and Kwikstage • Fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform You should have: • Good head for heights and comfortable on open platforms • Proven experience erecting tube-and-fitting and system scaffold 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
