TIG welder wanted in Chaves County

Join our team: we are hiring a TIG welder in Chaves County, New Mexico. You should have: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work Your main tasks: • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
