Toolroom milling operator • Lincoln County, Idaho

We are recruiting: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Lincoln County, Idaho. The role involves keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing. You should have: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces 2+ years on the tools preferred.
