Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Madison County, Texas. The job is in a gas distribution network. Day to day you will thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections. What we are looking for: • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends.
