Quality assurance assistant wanted in County Durham

We are recruiting: we are hiring a quality assurance assistant in County Durham, England. You will work at a food processing unit. Ideal candidate: • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor The role involves: • Draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing • Log batch numbers, lot codes and traceability data • Operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools • Check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation • Raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
