Urgent requirement: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Itas/Gadau, Bauchi State. You will be based in a sampling and tailoring workshop. The role involves: • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line Requirements: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown Full-time with occasional weekends.
