Toolroom milling operator wanted in Otsego County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Otsego County, Michigan. You will be based in a CNC machining unit. What we are looking for: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery On a typical shift you will deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed. We offer $6,000 per project plus benefits. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
