Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tiling assistant in Polk County, North Carolina. On a typical shift you will check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away; run silicone sealant into corners and expansion joints; level large-format tiles with a tile levelling system; cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter; match the tile pattern and coursing across the walls; make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts • Own a basic set of tiling tools (trowels, spacers, levels) Full-time, day shift. $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
