Vacancy available: we are hiring a framing carpenter in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council, England. The job is on a residential housebuilding project. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height Day to day you will erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours; install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails; read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists; assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops; fix studwork and plasterboard partitions; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge.
