Fabricator-welder — Washington County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Washington County, Mississippi. The job is in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Ideal candidate: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Day to day you will tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks. Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $19 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Share your details and we will call you back.
