Scaffolding charge hand wanted in Pointe Coupee Parish

Vacancy available: we are hiring a scaffolding charge hand in Pointe Coupee Parish, Louisiana. Day to day you will erect tube-and-fitting and system scaffolds such as Cuplok and Kwikstage; tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors; set out base plates and sole boards on firm, level ground; fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform; read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class; fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for repeated heavy lifting of tubes and boards • Working-at-height / PASMA training an advantage • Good head for heights and comfortable on open platforms Rotating shifts.
