General labourer wanted in Peoria County

Now hiring: we are hiring a general labourer in Peoria County, Illinois. You will work on a building construction site. On a typical shift you will hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors; carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site; pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator; stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage; mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer; set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction. What we are looking for: • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions Six days a week, one day off.
