Truck driver wanted in Ottawa County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a truck driver in Ottawa County, Michigan. You will be based on long-haul routes across the country. The role involves: • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars • Present documents at weighbridges and check posts • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off • Report defects and book the unit in for servicing • Log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels What we are looking for: • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Current Driver CPC qualification card Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
