Kitchen steward wanted in Charleston County

Join our team: we are hiring a kitchen steward in Charleston County, South Carolina. You will be based at a busy restaurant kitchen. The role involves top up detergent and rinse aid and check wash and sanitise temperatures; polish glasses and cutlery and stack them ready at the pass; sanitise crockery, glassware and cutlery to the required temperature; keep the dish pit tidy, dry and slip-free throughout service; wash chopping boards, knives and kitchen utensils. Ideal candidate: • Keen eye for cleanliness and kitchen hygiene standards • Basic food hygiene awareness (Level 2 certificate a plus) Six days a week, one day off.
