Urgent requirement: we are hiring a steam press operator in Sampson County, North Carolina. Ideal candidate: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work On a typical shift you will use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time with occasional weekends. Share your details and we will call you back.
