Great opportunity: we are hiring a ceramic tiler in Floyd County, Kentucky. You will work on a commercial fit-out project. On the job you will handle: • Cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter • Level large-format tiles with a tile levelling system • Fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims • Fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even • Mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency • Make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits You should have: • Able to work to deadlines on busy sites • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
