Great opportunity: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Smith County, Kansas. What we are looking for: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection On a typical shift you will feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator.
