Vacancy available: tyre bay technician (California)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tyre bay technician in Modoc County, California. You will be based in a commercial truck tyre depot. Requirements: • Knowledge of correct torque settings and TPMS resets • Punctual and willing to work weekends • Basic record-keeping and customer-facing skills Day-to-day duties: • Vulcanize larger cuts on commercial tyres • Balance wheels on a computerised wheel balancer and fit clip-on weights • Inflate tyres to the manufacturer's recommended PSI, including nitrogen fills • Check tread depth with a depth gauge and spot uneven wear • Jack up vehicles safely and set them on axle stands • Repair punctures with mushroom plugs and internal patches Pay around $4,700 per month, based on your experience. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
