Gas pipeline fitter — Houston County

Join our team: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Houston County, Georgia. The job is in a gas distribution network. Day to day you will fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints. You should have: • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Driving licence for travel between sites Full-time with occasional weekends.
