We are recruiting: chiller technician (Vermont)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a chiller technician in Grand Isle County, Vermont. You will work in a commercial cold storage facility. Ideal candidate: • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints On the job you will handle: • Fault-find control boards and defrost timers • Check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight • Trace electrical circuits with a multimeter • Clean condenser and evaporator coils Full-time with occasional weekends.
