Dumper truck operator • Ontonagon County, Michigan

Immediate opening: we are hiring a dumper truck operator in Ontonagon County, Michigan. You will be based at a stone quarry. Day-to-day duties: • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects Requirements: • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
