Your main tasks: • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks Ideal candidate: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
