Gas metal arc welder • Potter County, Texas

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Potter County, Texas. You will be based at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. Day to day you will lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding. Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Contact us to fix an interview.
