Natural gas fitter — Putnam County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a natural gas fitter in Putnam County, Ohio. The job is at a heating and plumbing contractor. The role involves: • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points Requirements: • Driving licence for travel between sites • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces 6+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $4,700 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
