Now hiring: we are hiring a power press operator in Union Parish, Louisiana. You should have: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout Day to day you will load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses.
