Great opportunity: we are hiring a press shop operator in Lancaster County, South Carolina. You will be based at a white goods manufacturing plant. Requirements: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses Day-to-day duties: • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Pay around $4,100 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
