Lift technician • Plymouth County, Iowa

We are recruiting: we are hiring a lift technician in Plymouth County, Iowa. Your main tasks: • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches Ideal candidate: • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways Six days a week, one day off.
