Vacancy available: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Sheboygan County, Wisconsin. You will be based at a knitwear stitching unit. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching The role involves thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish.
