Join our team: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Gaston County, North Carolina. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. What we are looking for: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage Your main tasks: • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
